Zachary Blackwell

Attorney Zachary Blackwell is dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for his clients while upholding the highest standards of professional conduct. With extensive experience representing thousands of clients facing criminal charges, he is a skilled criminal defense attorney who effectively navigates the criminal justice system.

Attorney Blackwell earned his bachelor’s degree in English from North Carolina State University and his Juris Doctor from North Carolina Central University School of Law. During his time at law school, he served as a staff member on the Law Review and graduated with honors.

Attorney Blackwell is currently the President of the Halifax County Bar Association and assists with the Halifax County Teen Court program. 

He has represented clients in a wide range of criminal matters, including serious felonies such as first-degree murder, first-degree rape and sex offenses, and robbery with a dangerous weapon, as well as misdemeanors such as driving while impaired and assault with a deadly weapon.
